I look for quotes on the internet all the time for my instagram posts and I came across this quote of "Your mental health is just as important as your physical health." It got me thinking about that and how people focus so much on their physical health which is a good thing but don't focus too much on their mental health which can affect just as much of your well being as your physical health. Just think about it...your mental health affects your mind and how you feel about yourself....if you feel depressed or anxious or angry. Exercising can help with all of these things but really taking care of your mental health involves talking about what has happened to you. Exercising can help for the moment and give you the boost that you need but talking about traumas that have happened can healing for your lifetime. Healing from traumas can take some time in therapy but it will last longer than just exercising or eating right. All of them are connected to each other and need to be cared for at the same time. Physical, mental and spiritual all need to be cared for as you are all of them. Hope that give you a different perspective on it!
